Collection: Discharge Bulbs

Discharge Bulbs generate light by sending an electric arc through a noble gas (such as argon, neon, or xenon) mixed with a metal vapor (mercury or sodium) inside a sealed quartz or glass tube. Unlike incandescent bulbs, they do not use a filament, resulting in much higher luminous efficacy and longer lifespans.
